Coachella Valley Event & Tourism Dates

The Coachella Valley is a popular destination for year-round events, and in order to maximize the revenue of your short term rental it is important to make sure that your pricing is updated appropriately. 

There are several key times in the year and events we wanted to highlight to help ensure people can adjust prices appropriately. 

Music Festivals

Coachella - Weekend 1 and Weekend 2 every year 2nd and 3rd week of April 2024

StageCoach - Last weekend of April 2024

Splash House - June 6-9, August 11-13 August 18-20 

PowerTrip - October 6-8 (hotel packages are already sold out - Tickets still available

SnowBird Season: Every year from November to March Snowbirds tend to flock to the Coachella Valley to escape from the cold and enjoy everything that the Desert has to offer. It is important to advertise for monthly stays here as many people like to stay for the entire season at one location and tend to be repeat customers.

Polo Season: Another major draw, particularly for Indio and La Quinta due to their proximity to their polo fields is the polo season which will run between Early January to late March every year. This draws a large crowd, and renters tend to pay a premium to be closer to the stables at the El Dorado Polo Club

Sporting/ Events: The Coachella Valley is also home to major sporting events + events throughout the year. In January 15-24 PGA West will be hosting the American Express Open at multiple locations. Indian Wells is known for their famed tennis tournament held every year in early march. 

The newly opened Acrisure Arena has weekly events that can bring in a big draw too.
